After reviewing federal online privacy law for minors, Clumppy and I decided to do away with the COPPA screen (which asks new registrants if they are over 13, per federal COPPA law) and instead set the minimum joining age to 18. We know there have been Geezer offspring in the past who joined before 18, but those have been rare and can be dealt with on a case by case basis.

For now, you have to be 18 to join the Forums. If this presents a problem, let us know.
