Do NOT buy Sound Forge's Audio Studio

It looks cool on Steam, and if you're into music, you might be tempted.

But the open source free program Audacity does EVERYTHING Sound Forge does. Does it better.
Gaming since the Odyssey ... Magnavox, not Homer ...

Thanks for heads up. I saw it today on Steam and was wondering.
I like Audacity for quick, simple sound edits. For guitar recording stuff I use Cubase.

And if you need to do a lot of mixing, Acid is cool - even though Sony bought them, too.
